Good News Club is a branch of English Ministry and is for children from Pre K / Age 4 to 5th grade. Families are some of the best parts of our church, and we love it when everyone, even the little ones, can come! We have a variety of ministries to teach the youngest members of our congregation about God. Children's Ministry is taught in English, but we have a number of bilingual children and staff who have been able to help Chinese speaking children better understand what is happening during our children programs and help them meet new people. Children's Ministry focuses on teaching the little ones about the basics of the Bible while having fun with each other.
On Friday nights, we meet up at 7:30 PM where our children gather to hear about stories from the Bible and to participate in fun crafts that make the lessons feel real. On Sundays, we divide the children up by grade for Kids Sunday School at 9:45 AM where they learn more about the Bible, and at 11:30 AM we bring all the grades back together for Children Worship. Note: If you have a child 13 to 36 months old, we have a Child Nursery Program during Sunday services for them on the first floor on Sundays 9:45 AM to 12:35 PM.
Every Summer we offer a two-day Vacation Bible School for children at the church premises. All children from kindergarten to 5th grade are welcome to register for this event, whether they are church members of Chinese Community Church of South Bay or not. There are no fees for this Vacation Bible School. Early registration is encouraged because space is limited.
